The only thing I can really suggest, is on some parts of wedding planning, you do get what you pay for!! I”ve been doing sound and lighting for higher end weddings for 20 years, and have seen it all! While a budget is important, the outcome of the “once in a lifetime”, SPECIAL DAY, is even MORE important! In the end, if the client saved a couple of thousand dollars, but was MISERABLE at their own wedding, was it really worth saving that money? Granted, some vendors do charge much more than others, but in my experience, it’s usually the quality of their service or product that justifies the fee! Just my own thoughts…
